Tengaged Movie Event: Dead Set TAKE 2 Nov 1, 2008
(This is my second attempt in trying to post this awesome movie on Tengaged)
So I know it's a day late, but hey, who doesn't like watching a movie. This movie is called "Dead Set." It's based on the UK Big Brother (which is why I am posting it). Features some ex-housemates (Aisleyne, Brian, Makosi, Ziggy, Helen, Bubble, and more) and even Davina!
...........................................................................
WARNING: This is a HORROR movie with plenty of GORE and ZOMBIES. There is FOUL LANGUAGE and is not suitable for the light of heart.
...........................................................................
So I guess grab some popcorn, pull up a chair and watch
EPISODE 1 of DEAD SET
Please feel free to respond to what you have seen (which is why I posted them). All links are from Youtube, so if they don't work on Tengaged, feel free to check them out yourselves.

Wikipedia Articles Needed! Oct 30, 2008
So I'm hoping to finalize the Tengaged wikipage on Sunday. However, there are NO articles submitted to the official group. True, some have gathered some great articles, both nothing concrete ready for shipment is out there. As willing as I am to write the whole thing, it would be great if it was a community project. So if you are interested in helping out, join the Tengaged Wikipedia group (http://www.tengaged.com/group/1086), where you can post your articles.
And articles are not in the traditional sense as in newspaper article. An article is just a paragraph (or two/three) blurb about a certain aspect of tengaged, including the history, game rules, types of games, avatar creation, money systems, and stuff like that. If you think you have another idea, please feel free to post it! However, only posted submitted and approved in the group will make the final draft. SO PLEASE WRITE!...oh, and happy early halloween everyone!

New Casting Strategy Oct 28, 2008
So I recently got evicted from a Casting game. It was the final round of normal evictions. From the beginning to that point on, I was pretty active (as active as I can be), plussed all the time, and was well received by my housemates. For the final eviction, myself and another really active player were safe from evictions while the other three (also less active [with the exception of one]) were up for eviction. One of nominees was of course evicted, but I was the other in this double eviction. So this got me thinking, of all the time I've spent on this game (assumably more than the other two nominees), why was I the one evicted for inactivity? Well, here's my theory:
The algorithm evicts one of the nominees and one of the non nominated players. Think about it. Have you seen two people evicted in one sitting that were both nominated, even if both were the most inactive of the players? I think the algorithm is set up to make it one from each set, even in this final round.
IF this is true, then this would be the strategy: be a popular player from the earlier days, then be inactive for the penultimate day. You will be up for eviction, but you'll probably be saved because of your popularity. This will then save you from the inactive eviction if you are not nominated with other more active people.

If I'm right, then this algorithm sucks. But hey, it added a REALLY great twist in my game; I'm fairly certain no one expected me to go, especially since it frickin said IF YOU ARE NOT UP ON THE BLOCK IN THIS ROUND, THEN YOU ARE IN THE FINAL FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF? Oct 28, 2008
Okay...so I just got evicted from my first new style casting game...wtf? I wasn't nominated, I was pretty active, and I was always possitively ranked. So why am I evicted? Oh well, it's a game and truly a RANDOM algorithm happens. So head caution: even if you are active (right before an eviction too), YOU WILL STILL GET EVICTED!

SO goodbye to Irvin, you were an awesome mate to hang with. Many a great video were shared. Jessica, I hope you're feeling better and my your breasts no longer be a burden. Punx, I told you that you would stay; the super glue worked. Everyone else, I didn't really know you (except for jon, who wasn't on for a while).

Well, the new casting system is fun, but CRAPPY that I got evicted. Eviction by inactivity my ass...

Tengaged Wikipedia Oct 26, 2008
imageSo far, no Tengaged Wikipedia page exists...wtf! This is the extent of Tengaged as known by wikipedia:

It exists on the Big Brother (U.S) page about 12/13ths of the way down:

Online Games

Tengaged is an online multiplayer game based on Big Brother that allow people to play against other users in a virtual house. The game duration is 7 days and evictions occur each day. [66]

I think it is a bit of a shame that Tengaged has no page nor the elaboration it deserves. So what I was thinking, why don't we create a group of Tengaged users to format an extensive Tengaged page. Sure, anyone can just create one, but I thinkt he page would be better if it was a collaboration of some sort. Any thoughts on this proposal?
