So it's been a while since I've posted. Well firstly, Summerlynn was the third evictee. I was really looking forward to play with her because of notoriety. But what was really intriguing about her was how she wanted to change her image, and I totally did see a nicer and wittier side of Summer that few have appreciated. Unfortunately, she wasn't given the opportunity to change her image because of her short time. Hopefully I will be able to play with her in a future game.
And then there was the whole fake account voting incident. Afterwards, a double eviction with jrxoxo and Bowler23. Jrxoxo was sad because I commiserated with her inactivity due to having a life. And Bowler23 was the unfortunate target of the cheating votes incident. Both had great blogs and amazing things to say, but the viewers had other opinions. Oh well.
And now is the face to face eviction where the contestants choose who the next evictee is by nominating publicly. This was potentially a great was to boost interest in the game by instigating drama, which was slowly being developed amongst the housemates. Well, not much drama ensued. Everyone was very apologetic and kind and modest, even to people who nominated them. Very anticlimactic as I was hoping for something to actually read through the pages. And I've been reading other posts of how people are losing interest in this game, which SUCKS! I joined this game hoping a lot of people would be interactive with the game: commenting of our gameplay, supporting this game, voting. It would have strengthened the community...so I strongly urge people to continue supporting Digital Brother. Not much has been happening because we have fewer tasks, everyone is more comfortable together, and (a big problem) EVERYONE IS COPYING DIGITAL BROTHER! Not our actually gameplay, but the concept of replicating popular game shows in Tengaged forums. And since everyone has created sed games, everyone is busy in their games because they aren't playing in DB. That is fine, but DB requires outside viewers. It hinges on the opinions on those outside the game. The other games are much more self-reliable, thus not requiring the integration of viewers. Digital Brother had the potential of being a great Tengaged community event. But now I doubt people will even remember this game once it finishes. I strongly urge people to stick with this because I have a feeling DB is as close to the upcoming STAR game as it will get for the time being. And if people don't seem supportive of the STAR game format, maybe randomize won't consider putting it up. This might be a stretch but it's still a possibility.
So I guess that's my man vent for this post. Hopefully DB will stop its slump and increase in popularity. Hopefully I haven't dissuaded people from keeping up with DB. Please remain interested! The house is getting smaller, and therefore easier to follow certain contestants. Well, until later I suppose...
