Rites of Passage: In the early morning, the final four castaways went to check tree mail, where there was a map and a make up kit was waiting. The castaways were given a picture book of traditional make up styles that warriors wore. After they got on the make up, the castaways grabbed the map and followed the marked trail to their final Immunity challenge. Along this trail, the torches of their 16 former castaways line it. When they meet up with a person’s torch, the final four will take a moment to reflect on them and their impact in the game, and grab their torch. When they reach the end of the trail, the Survivors will burn their competitor’s torches while a group of native performers will greet them. Afterwards, the final four will compete in their final Immunity challenge.
Immunity Challenge: A long wooden cylinder was cut into different sized segments. On the center segment a notch has been cut where a metal ball rests. The castaways will have to hold up the segments by squeezing them between two handles. Every five minutes, a new round will start where the castaway will have to add two additional segments between the handles. After the cylinder was nine segments long, the final round will last as long as the castaways held out. If the metal ball falls off, the castaway will be eliminated from the challenge. The castaway who holds up their segments the longest without allowing the ball to drop from the center segment will win immunity and a guaranteed spot in the final Tribal Council.
