Reward challenge: Four members of each tribe will swim out to a floating platform. One at a time, a castaway will dive down to a 30 foot long steel cage that contained coconuts painted in tribe colors and with letters on them. The coconuts will have to be placed in a floating bin and the bin pulled back to shore by the remaining teammates. Once on shore, they will unscramble a word puzzle using the letters on the coconuts. The first tribe to solve the word puzzle wins reward. The reward for this tribe is pillows, blankets, a hammock, a lamp, and kerosene.
During the challenge:
For the Fogo tribe, Melanie, Fred, Cristina, and Rufio will dive down and grab the coconuts while Jean, Homer, Helen, and Jason will pull the bin back and solve the puzzle.
For the Brava tribe, Dannette, Margaret, Richard, and Scott will dive down and grab the coconuts while Susan, Vera, Edward and Jeffrey will pull the bin back and solve the puzzle.
Immunity challenge: The castaways will race across a net run carrying wooden blocks to a platform. When all of the blocks were at the platform, they will need to be stacked into a tower. The castaways will then cross a rope bridge to a second platform where two nets will be tied together holding more wooden blocks. After the nets were untied, the blocks will have to be stacked into another tower. The first tribe to stack both towers wins Immunity.
