Alright we're now 1/4 of the way through this list. Besides Nicaragua, most of my rankings have been kind of predictable so far. Time to shake things up again. The next season on my list is:
CHINA!
China I believe is one of the most overrated seasons by sucksters and tengageders. I see people rank this season in their top 10 and I'm thinking to myself, are we watching the same season? Let me start out with the positives. This was probably one of the best jobs of taking in the culture of the host country if not the best. A lot of challenges were Chinese games and traditions. There were also a couple of good characters such as Jean-Robert, Courtney and James. China also had one of the better blindsides when Amanda decided to target James. James getting voted out with 2 idols in his pocket is easily one of the most iconic vote-offs in survivor history and probably got him back on for Fans vs. Favorites. The final tribal council was also decent because everybody thought Amanda had the game won when she got there but Todd did a much better job explaining his game and really gave one of the better jury performances in survivor history.
But there were plenty of negatives to this season. First of all, it was one of the shortest in survivor history in terms of tribal councils. The game started out with 16 people and had a FTC with 3 people. I did have a problem with that because I felt like it was an easier path for the 3 and they were taking away an extra tribal council. This season also had one of the most unfair twists in survivor history when the tribes were allowed to kidnap 2 members of the other tribe. This led to Aaron and Sherea getting voted out without having much of a chance to plead their cases. It was also a season heavily dominated by Fei Long. The only chance Zhan Hu really had was to go through throwing the challenges but even if they did, Todd and James blocked that by giving James a HII. It was one of the few seasons the other tribe really never had a chance. Todd and Amanda dominated the entire game and were able to both get to the end relatively easily. The season just kind of felt anti-climatic to me once James got voted out.
China did have its positive moments to get up this high on the list but I think people forget how one-sided this season was when they rank it high on their lists.
Stay tuned for #20! Hint- a season with multiple twists

I agree with a lot of this, the tribes were extremely unfair. Fei-Long had a much stronger tribe physically and the first few challenges are usually more physically based, so once they had numbers they got to sit out their weak members and were pretty much unstoppable :/
The tribes were pretty equal. I mean they had big dudes like Jean-Robert, Aaron and James, and of course Amanda for the women, but they had Leslie, Courtney, Denise, and Todd, who were all challenge liabilities.
Zhan Hu had Dave, Frosti, Erik, Peih-Gee, Sherea, and Ashley. So if I were to go off first impressions, Zhan Hu probably would have won a lot more challenges but they had no unity and lacked planning. Also, Dave fucked up by wearing himself out by being a workaholic.
I loved China. It was really good in my opinion, and the fireworks challenge. THAT WAS AMAZING. But its your opinion and I respect it.
Yeah Fei Long dominated (but they at least shook it up a few times before completing the Pagonging, allowing Erik and PG to make F6 despite going into the merge 7-3), yeah Aaron was screwed unfairly (though I think Sherea was next to go on her tribe anyway so nothing changed there) and yeah having a F3 with 16 people was stupid but I think the positives outweigh the negatives: The culture being tied in still made the season stand alone especially since that never happens anymore, a vast majority of the cast was enjoyable with only a couple duds (Denise is the only thing really keeping this cast from being perfect -_-), and some of the gameplay was actually really innovative (The one time in Survivor history where throwing a challenge was actually smart). Plus the first time a fake idol was played!
Cook Islands is too easy of a guess. I'm going to say Palau or Exile Island.
