EPISODE 6
"Keep Your Friends Close, and Your Enemies Closer"

It begun raining as Kolovai returned to camp. "That was rough", Josh publicly stated. Ciera declared that she had to get sleep as she was rather tired.

"I usually don't get surprised, but for the first time in this game, I'm genuinely surprised", Kass said about that night's Tribal Council. "I wasn't expecting them to vote LJ out, and I wouldn't have voted him out, certainly not before Trish", she added in her confessional. "I don't know where this leaves me now. I'll have to explore my options."

"LJ did not deserve to go home, and I do feel bad for him", Trish announced to the cameras. "Was it a good move? Maybe in the moment. But was it in the long run? No way, because now they have to worry about the 'free agent' ", as the camera panned over to Kass sitting quietly in the shelter. "I am so annoyed", Trish finally added.

The next morning, Ciera and Jaclyn quietly celebrated in the jungle. "Perfect!", Ciera declared. The girls agreed that they could not be in a better position and that in the event they lost, the next vote would be a simple decision that entailed choosing between either Kass or Trish. "Girls really do run this game", Ciera concluded, as the girls walked back toward the shelter.

Josh awoke a bit later that morning. Hayden was still asleep, as Trish sat by the fire.

"I'm really not too surprised that Hayden, Ciera, and Jaclyn lied to me as I don't know them too well, but I'm severely disappointed and a little pissed off at Josh", Trish stated in her confessional, meanwhile the camera zoomed in to her glaring at Josh.

"You've dug yourself a hole", Trish remarked.
"Who, me?", replied Josh.
Trish and Josh had a brief exchange with Trish having reminded Josh that she had his back and that she was the first one to fill him in at the old Kolovai after Natalie "bamboozled" him at the Katie vote, and that if it wasn't for her he'd be in serious danger on that tribe.

"Those were all hypotheticals, Trish", Josh reasoned. "I was never in any danger. Natalie didn't 'blindside' me by her vote against Katie."
"Well that doesn't take away from the fact that I had YOUR back, and I was willing to put my game out there to protect you as I genuinely liked you as a person, but you're WRONG and I'll NEVER make that mistake AGAIN!". Trish tossed a stick into the fire, and walked off.

"Am I in the twilight zone?", Josh asked. Hayden had awoken, while Kass sat in silence.

The camera zoomed in on Kass. "I'm sitting by the shelter having to watch poor Josh be berated by this maniacal woman. Do I feel bad for him? Absolutely not. I mean he could have voted her out last night, but he didn't. So I don't feel any sympathy for him", she expressed in her confessional.

The camera changed to following Trish through the jungle. Trish kneeled and begun praying. "I just lost my cool", Trish declared in a confessional. "If I was in trouble before, I'm in serious hot water now."

At Otuhaka, Sarah woke early that morning and sat by the beach alone. "I need to find a way to crack the upper ranks of what I presume is the alliance between Jeremy, Natalie, Brad, and Vytas. I really can't believe I'm putting my trust in the hands of Tony of all people." She then entertained the thought of putting on an act of dislike toward Tony, so that people would think that she'd be willing to vote him off. "I'm going have to do whatever I possibly can."

Meanwhile, Brad and Vytas woke and went on a walk through the jungle. They discussed their position on the tribe, simultaneously agreeing that they fully trusted both Natalie and Jeremy. "Just, don't vote me out again, alright?", Brad remarked. Vytas questioned why Brad had thought that he (Vytas) would vote him out again, and Brad had admitted his fear about what happened last season possibly ensuing again. "I just don't want to be betrayed again." Vytas ensured Brad that he was not planning on it, with a look of disbelief on his face.

"Working with Brad definitely has its disadvantages", Vytas admitted in a confessional. "And I'd be lying if I said there wasn't any tension between the two of us over what happened in 27, which I feared Brad would hold against me, which for some reason he brought up today". Vytas and Brad walked back to the shelter together, with Brad having gone to work on the fire. "If Brad wants me to be confident in that he wouldn't do anything to get 'revenge' on me, he has to try a lot harder because I sure don't have good vibes from him right now."

Later that day, Natalie checked up with Vytas to see whether he was "still good". Vytas admitted his fear of Brad eventually wanting to get revenge on him (Vytas) over what transpired between the two of them in Blood vs Water, and that he had gotten shady vibes from Brad that morning. Natalie nodded, with a concerned look on her face.

"So we're having our first sign of trouble, with Vytas not fully convinced that Brad won't vote him out. We need to get this sorted out before someone like Tony gets a hold of information and goes nuts", Natalie stated in a confessional.

*cut to scene of Tony lurking behind bushes*

Natalie and Jeremy talked on their way toward tree-mail, with Natalie having informed Jeremy on Vytas's worry concerning Brad. They agreed that they had to patch things up between the two of them in a way that wouldn't garner attention, nor have Brad suspicious that Vytas is doubting his loyalty.

At Kolovai, Hayden arrived with tree-mail, reading off the next reward challenge. "Hopefully a reward challenge can ease the tension around here", Ciera stated, as the tribe headed off.

Both tribes arrived at the reward challenge. Jeff explained that the winning tribe would enjoy a helicopter ride to another island of the Tonga, where they would enjoy a picnic by a waterfall. The tribes competed and Kolovai managed to win their second reward challenge as a new tribe. Jeff congratulated Kolovai and announced that they would be going on their reward soon, while he sent Otuhaka back to camp.

At Otuhaka, as the tribe was bummed after their loss, Keith attempted to have a strategy talk with Jeremy. "It's time for me to take control of my own game", Keith declared to the camera with his Southern twang. He and Jeremy walked down the beach as Keith told Jeremy that he had no allies and there were no "hard feelings" from their past Survivor experience. Jeremy thanked Keith for being understanding, and promised to keep him updated. "If I can use Keith as a number for my game, then so be it. Keith is a great person to have as a back-up number, just in case", Jeremy stated in his confessional.

The conversation ended, with Keith having laughed it off to himself and having told the cameras that he had no interest in working with Jeremy. "I think I'm finally gettin' use to this whole strategy thing", Keith declared. "Time to take a break."

Meanwhile, Natalie talked with Brad by the shelter, asking him whether he was confident with their alliance or whether they should attempt and recruit another member, such as Keith or Sarah. She then added that she didn't want Vytas to vote him out again. Brad stated that the possibility of "Vytas voting him out again" scared him, and that revenge would only be an option if he found out that Vytas had planned on writing his name down. "Definitely", Natalie replied.

Natalie expressed her relief in a confessional. "Looks like Brad isn't thinking about revenge, unless he feels Vytas betrays him first, so I guess that's good news and Vytas really shouldn't worry about Brad coming after him for revenge if it isn't provoked". Natalie and Brad finished their conversation, and went their separate ways.

At Kolovai, the tribe arrived at their picnic reward situated by a stunning lake and waterfall. They ate and conversed, and most of the tribe had gone swimming in the lake afterwards. However, both Kass and Trish stayed on the shore where they had eaten their picnic lunch.

After a moment of brief silence, Kass spoke up. "So, would you ever consider working together?", she asked.
Trish turned her head and stared at Kass in disbelief. "You're being serious?".
"If we don't do something, one of us is automatically being voted out next, and with these people you can't predict who they'd vote", Kass responded, followed by a camera shot of Ciera floating in the water.
"We don't have to like each other", Kass added. "But this can help us get further."
Trish sat in silence, informing Kass that she had to think about it.

"Honestly, Kass's offer is interesting, and I never thought she would ever approach me with something like it. Do I trust her? Not a chance. But I do have to highly consider working with Kass, at least for the time being", Trish stated in a confessional. "Makes me sick even thinking about it though..."

At Otuhaka, Tony and Vytas were situated by the fire. Vytas sincerely apologized for his mini-outburst with Tony from before the swap. Tony admitted equal responsibility and that he did not hold anything against Vytas. Vytas proceeded to tell Tony that he (Tony) may think his game is "done", but that in reality it was far from over as "anything could still happen". Tony asked what Vytas was talking about, with Vytas having brought up the thought of them two working together, or at least promising to have each others back.

"If I know Natalie is inseparable with Jeremy, and I don't trust Brad to not eventually vote me out, I might have to explore my options", Vytas expressed in a confessional. "You know what they say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer".

"At this point, I'm open to anything", Tony exclaimed in his confessional. "But know that I have an idol, *pulls out idol and shows to camera*, and that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!"

Tony told Vytas what he had thought, and they had shook hands. "Now let's split up before anyone sees", Vytas stated, heading toward the beach. The camera zoomed in to a smiling Tony, who shook his head, and walked into the jungle.

Later that afternoon, Kolovai returned to camp from their reward. Hayden, Jaclyn, and Ciera were conversing by the beach, rubbing each others bellies and commenting on how full they were. Kass and Josh sat by the fire, having gone over Trish's explosion on Josh from the other day, and that Josh would be willing to vote her out. "Mhmm", Kass replied, raising her eyebrow in suspicion.

"But if she's going to blow up like that, then it doesn't make her a threat", Josh reasoned, with a camera shot of Trish walking up the beach.

"I feel like I've done a good job at laying low thus far, but now that we're getting closer to the merge, it's time for me to be a lot more upfront", Josh stated in a confessional. "And I definitely have another blindside in mind", he proclaimed as the camera shot changed to Ciera by the beach.

The next morning, Josh arrived with tree-mail, announcing that an immunity challenge was coming up.

Both tribes arrived at the immunity challenge.

Otuhaka pulled out another Immunity win, sending Kolovai to Tribal Council one more time. Jeff told Kolovai that he would be seeing them that night, and sent both tribes back to camp.

Upon return, a distressed Kolovai scattered around camp. Ciera and Jaclyn met up to discuss the vote. Hayden joined in on the conversation where the three of them agreed it would be a wiser choice to keep Kass in the game, sending Trish home. "Tonight, Trish is going home", Ciera declared, with thoughts looming of using Kass as a goat.

Meanwhile, Josh resumed his conversation with Kass from last night about the potential of pulling off a blindside. Both of them agreed that Ciera would serve as the most likely candidate. Kass told Josh that if he managed to convince the three others (Hayden/Jaclyn/Ciera) to split the vote, thinking they had Josh on board, them two and Trish would be able to blindside Ciera that night. However, Josh explained his worries surrounding Trish's vote and that it would likely be against him, with Kass having calmly ensured Josh that Trish would likely do whatever would keep her in the game. "It's time to get to work", Josh privately stated.

Josh, Jaclyn, and Ciera were by the beach when Josh proposed their alliance of four (along with Hayden), split the vote between Kass and Trish in the event either of the women had an idol. Ciera looked at Jaclyn nervously as the girls hesitantly agreed.

"Splitting votes always scares me", Jaclyn proclaimed in a confessional, "and I don't know whether tonight is the best time for us to do it." After Josh left, Ciera pondered his desire to split the vote. "I don't know whether Trish or Kass have an Idol. I know I do, and I can pull it out tonight if I wanted, but the thought of splitting the votes now makes me nervous", Ciera privately declared.

About an hour passed until Josh privately approached Jaclyn.

"My only concern in blindsiding Ciera tonight is that Trish is going to vote for me instead, which is why I need a back-up vote against Ciera, which would be Jaclyn", Josh stated in a confessional, underestimating Jaclyn's friendship with Ciera. Jaclyn was caught off guard after Josh had told her of his plan to blindside Ciera. Josh had added that Ciera and Hayden were a tight pair so that splitting them up before the merge was essential.

"I got immediate butterflies", Jaclyn claimed. "This is a mess!"

Meanwhile, Kass met up with Trish by tree-mail, having filled her in on Josh's plan to blindside Ciera. However, Trish warned Kass that the last she saw Josh, he was talking to Jaclyn privately, so she (Kass) would have to find out what Josh was doing. Kass agreed to keep an open line of communication with everyone for the remainder of the afternoon, as the women went their ways. "I cannot believe I'm working with her", Trish whispered to the camera as Kass walked off.

Minutes later, Jaclyn joined Ciera in the shelter, immediately having whispered to her that Josh was planning on writing her name down. Ciera was visually shocked, but the girls had to keep it down. Ciera asked what they were supposed to do. Jaclyn informed Ciera to play her idol that night, and that them two and Hayden would vote together to get rid of Trish regardless. However, Ciera claimed that Trish was likely going to vote for Josh that night so this would be their opportunity to piggy-back Trish's vote, sending Josh home. Jaclyn rubbed her head and moaned. "This is so confusing". Jaclyn proceeded to crawl out of the shelter as the girls saw Josh walking up the beach.

"For the first time in this game, I'm genuinely scared", Ciera stated in her confessional. As the tribe got ready to depart, Ciera had a final talk with Kass, having informed her of Josh's plan to vote her (Ciera) out, as they watched Josh and Hayden talk by the beach. "What are we doing?", Ciera asked Kass, as the camera faded to a shot of the tribe heading to Tribal Council.

TRIBAL COUNCIL

Kolovai arrived at Tribal Council. Jeff asked Hayden why he thought the tribe had lost another challenge. Hayden replied that he didn't think their tribe was exceptionally weaker as they had won both rewards, but that they were in greater jeopardy at the immunity challenges involving sheer strength. Jeff asked Trish whether we could expect another blindside. Trish said that anything was possible but that she had packed all her things, fully expecting to be voted out that night. Jeff asked Josh whether Trish had reason to worry. Josh agreed that Trish was vulnerable that night but some people didn't see her as that big of a threat due to her "loud mouth", explaining the fight that had gone down between the two of them. Jeff asked Jaclyn whether the fight between Josh and Trish could dictate tonight's vote, with Jaclyn answering that the fight sure did enlarge the targets on both of them.

The tribe voted.

Jeff: If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.

The camera panned in to Ciera. Jaclyn looked at her. Ciera moved her head up. Josh glanced sideways.

Jeff read the votes.

Sixth person voted out of Survivor All-Stars, Josh.

Josh stood up and congratulated his tribe. Hayden looked visually confused. Kass turned to Trish and nodded.

Josh brought up his torch to be snuffed by Jeff before walking off.

Jeff announced to the tribe that with a wasted idol, *shot of Ciera looking slightly disappointed*, and a blindside in Josh, that they should prepare themselves for anything before having wished them a good night and sent them off back to camp.

Next time on SURVIVOR,
The tribes are shocked to find out that they are NOT merging.
-
Jaclyn (confessional): We were all expecting a merge.
-
Otuhaka debates throwing a challenge.
-
Natalie (confessional): If we are to throw a challenge, this is the time to do so.
-
While old allies begin to separate.
-
Hayden (confessional): I don't know whether I can trust Ciera any more.

Wow that tribe is a big clusterfuck. I love the idea of Kass/Trish working together after all that arguing. I want Tony to last long enough to at least reunite with Trish and Kass. The all-time legendary alliance lol.
