28. Dara - K'vo Ne Chu - #TolisKalkas, TSC248, 6th, 89 pts
Balkan pop music has really stepped up its game in 2016, and this song shows exactly how popular music should actually sound. Agressive verses, great buildup, and a drop that you will remember for the next 20 years. It's just a pity that her English version of this song called "Onto You" sounds like she mumbles some gibberish bullshit.
27. Flume - Never Be Like You (feat. Kai) - #PrincessTeePee, TSC231, 8th, 78 pts
To be quite honest, explaining why this song is so cool is a bit of a difficult task. There are so many parts that completely don't go together, at first listen this just sounds a bit boring and untidy. It is safe to say that this single has significantly grown on me - I don't know how this absolutely messy production and background still managed to maintain this kind of a dreamy feeling, because this genre (Future Bass) usually gets this sort of thing extremely wrong. This is probably one of the better executed releases from this type of music, and maybe Corinne Bailey Rae should have got some lessons from Flume on how to incorporate quirky elements in a better manner.
While Greta's Eurovision song saw the same fate as Silvia Night's entry, she still cannot match the level of ICON that the latter undoubtedly is when it comes to A-TTI-TUDE. Fortunately, her non-ESC releases are million times better than Silvia Night's, it's just a pity that she didn't call out a Swedish artist for having sex with the EBU head in the car or for being ugly, especially when she didn't qualify while Poland did - like where is the justice? "Row" should just show the brainless Eurovision fans on what they missed by not letting her through.
25. Sia - The Greatest - #Patrick319, TSC252, 2nd, 92 pts
I mean, it's Sia and her new signature sound, it's almost impossible to dislike any of her current releases. While marketing herself as a person without a face is a bit of a bullshit excuse (since Behind The Scenes videos always show her face), it definitely worked for her career, although Daft Punk do that much better than her. Pity that Daft Punk hasn't released anything worth my time since a brilliant tune called "Instant Crush," while Sia continues to give us music that is just really of solid quality.
