Lies over honesty? Aug 30, 2008
Alright. This blog isn’t about my current game, my past game, or anything of that sorts. It will be coming though. Although, of course it does play a role in this site in general. Even bigger than that, in fact it goes on in the world today. Maybe it’s how are society is, or maybe it’s just instinct, but why is it? To start this off, if you’re an idiot your not going to get any of this so, piss off. I’ll delete your comment, if you can’t spell. Anyways. My question is, why do we tend to believe the lies over the truth? If you ask me, and I say. ‘’I didn’t steal that from you, I swear’’ why do we tend to believe the person that accused the other saying ‘’he’s who stole it?’’ In the tengage terms, and BB brother terms. Why is it so easy to tell someone, they’re getting backstabbed by someone else and they go bat shit believing it? It’s rare anyone sits down and questions that person who made the lie to begin with. Why is it so hard to believe them when that same person tells you ‘’They have your back?’’ Maybe it’s because things have changed, and there’s more backstabbers in the world than there is honest people?

Maybe we’re attracted to the drama because it’s more intriguing than, honesty itself? It’s a shame it’s this way. Turn on the news, watch how a ‘’criminal’’ is prosecuted as ‘’guilty’’ before all the facts come out? They do it because it’s more entertaining that way. Maybe you can agree, or come up with your own stance on things. I just had to throw that out there.

Dispelling popular ideas Aug 24, 2008
Now, I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for going against a few popular opinions, but  I don’t care. I see a lot of blog’s and what not of game suggestions, to improve the current system. Many of which are popular, but I don’t agree with them whatsoever. This blog is on why, that is.

The first one is having little mini-games, to determine HOH and veto holders. This pretty much cannot work. This game is too big. For any flash type game to work, it’s likely to be a ONE player score. Someone playing a game of snake by themselves, and than registering there point total. It’s just mess. I can’t even make sense of this. The idea is meh, but it CANNOT happen. Many people don’t realize that his is a STRATEGY game, and nothing more. While the real BB may have games to decide HOH and vetos, it’s not possible here, in my opinion.

Another one, is having a jury with a final two. This is stupid, to be honest. If you think about it, there is a jury. From what I understand, the positives you get from other members of the house, helps you win in the end. I can’t imagine, having 6 bitter house guests come back to decide the winner, who would only vote for there friends or who they felt wronged by. On the real show, it’s different. They are in the flesh, and they actually vote on game strategy for the most part. This is the internet, and judgment would be CLEARLY distorted through the web. The way the point system is set up, there is already a jury set in place, think about it.

That’s all I have for now. This blog is long enough. I have a few suggestions though, which are possible to make. I don’t know, if tengage will pick up on them, but at least the opinion would be voiced. Let the flame war begin!

Second win & Rookies Aug 23, 2008
So, I won my second game. I find it hard to be excited about it, simply because the game itself was so damn boring. Fortunately, I came in first and got some good Karma for it, which in now I can play a rookies game. This is where the game gets interesting, and I’m interested in playing it. Ha-ha, see what I did there? Paul, another cool cat and I look forward to playing with you again in the future. I accidentally made my own rookies game, so join it if you want to hang out with the cool kid, which is me. If not? Than you’re irrelevant, go away. See you guys around!

Honor vs. Dishonor and a little something in between Aug 21, 2008
Here, I am with my second blog. If you thought the first one was torture, than you’re in for a treat now. I’m being sarcastic. Yes, I do it a lot. I’m sure it annoys you? Well, that’s my goal to be honest. Alright, now let’s move on. My second game ended; and I waited to write this, for the sole purpose of watching the outcome. If the person who will be currently unnamed won, I’d be typing this entire thing in capital letters, and be cussing up a storm. It’s what I do. Okay, no it isn’t. I’m too smart for that. But I can act and idiot just like you, maybe even better.

Once again I played the game how I usually played it. Every move was honorably motivated. What does this mean? It means I didn’t backstab. It means I followed through with every last word, every last promise. I dare someone to tell me otherwise, they tried; and it backfired. It’s how I play. Still and interesting question arose out of the situation. Would I lie? Do I lie? Well I had this girlfriend and she wore this hideous dress; and well, I told her it looked good. That didn’t work out to well. Yes, I’ve lied in real life. Kill me. In this game though? So far I haven’t. I didn’t need too. Since when has it become a necessity to win? Maybe, for tyleror but he still didn’t win anyways. The honest answer is, I don’t know. If my neck was on the line, it maybe a whole different story right? I still didn’t lie even when I knew my elimination was near and the number was against me. I didn’t lie to slip into the final four. While we had Tyleror, who felt he had to lie because he really wanted first place. Congratulations, Dusty on winning first place. Like what I did there? Heh.

I did meet a few friends in the game. Chad is a very cool cat. Dusty, was a very chill and mature guy. I do feel betrayed by him, but at least he ‘’betrayed me’’ with some honor, and not outright being an asshole to my face. It’s amazing how people allow situations to go to their head. They feel big, only when they know they got you down. I wished Tyleror would have talked the way he did on the last day I was here, on the first one. He wouldn’t be there too long. But now I’m rambling. Deater was probably the coolest guy out of the whole game. I really think he had my back in the game, and was an honest player just like myself. It’s a shame he hasn’t won a game yet; from what I understand he’s been backstabbed a lot. Well, don’t change your style. Keep playing how you do; we don’t need the last honest players going corrupted. Hell, I even want to play dirty, it seems to work sometimes, doesn’t it Tyleror? If anyone wants to find a teammate to rely on, Deater is highly recommended. Don’t mess around though, he isn’t a fool.

The truth is, my 6th place spot, could have honestly been a top 3. Deater at one point was on the line. If I would’ve voted him out, I wouldn’t have been on the block. What did I do? I campaigned; I had him safe when others wanted him out. In turn, I was put on the block. What did I learn about all this? Well, I learnt the next person I keep safe; I do it while keeping myself off the block. I’d safe a friend again, in a second. So the battle between honor and dishonor? Well, neither won. Dusty who hung somewhere in between, did. Congradulations, friend.

First win Aug 15, 2008
I figured, I’d fit in with the mold by starting my own blog. This actually is quite a challenge, because by the end of the sentence I’m going to forget about what I was here to write about in the first place. Damn it. Well, on another topic I won my first game. I had a lot of strategy, a lot of thinking, but none of it ever crossed my morals. I didn’t need to back stab, I didn’t need to start lies, or even cheat just to prosper. I can say every promise I made, I came through with it, despite my overall strategy. As for strategy? Now, why would I ever tell you that? It’s about winging things, you know? It’s how I get around in life, wing this wing that, the next minute you’re flying. You can’t touch that!  Anyways, I met some very cool people in that game. Rhyno, I believe I owe you a few beers man! Katie; will you marry me? Ha-ha, that was…a joke. Not funny? No? Sorry. Dustin, you’re a cool cat! And cherry, it’s a shame we didn’t get of on the coolest start possible, but best of luck in your future games. As for this blog? What was I talking about anyways?…whatever.
