SURVIVOR: REALITY SHOWDOWN Finale Part 4 (Reunion Show)

imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The jury got to address Tiffany, Danielle, and Derek. Lauren started, commending all three on a good game and asked Tiffany whose idea it was to get her out. “As much as I do think all decisions were mutual to some extent,” Tiffany said, “It was my move. It was never meant to embarrass you, but rather to get out somebody who was a threat and could beat us all.” James was next and asked Derek why he trusted Danielle and Tiffany so blindly when the clearly had a different agenda. “I’m someone who plays primarily with my heart,” Derek said, “and I just knew that I’d rather get screwed over by Tiffany again than send her or Danielle packing and play with regrets.” James then asked Danielle if she thought she outplayed Tiffany, to which Danielle responded “I think I played a much less backstabby game, which is what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to play as a villain, and I do think I played heroically.” Jamal said that he was going to honor what was most important to him and that was physical game and asked Danielle if she purposely threw challenges. Danielle responded, “I never threw challenges, but I also never felt like I needed the win which is why I didn’t waste all my stamina trying so hard.” Jamal shook his head in what seemed like annoyance. Jeremy was next and commended Derek on doing what he couldn’t, “lasting farthest in most challenges.” He then asked Tiffany if the jury should prioritize social, strategic, or physical game play when casting their vote. “I think socially, Danielle pissed the least amount of people off. It’s clear that Derek played the best physical game. And I do believe I ran the strategy of most votes, so vote in your heart the way you best feel, I can’t tell the jury which to prioritize because all three are important,” she said. Jeremy then asked Danielle the same, and Danielle said “I think the winner shouldn’t necessarily be the best in one thing, but equally good at all three, and she felt that she was never the worst in challenges, never the worst strategically, and never the worst socially.” Claire was next and asked Tiffany if she intended to betray her, and Tiffany said “It’s all game Claire, and I respect you enough to know that if you did the same to me, I’d respect it.” Janet was next and said that she was proud of all three finalists and asked Danielle if Derek had lost the final immunity if they would’ve gotten him out. “Realistically,” Danielle said, “probably not, only because Tiff and I knew that going up against anyone who wasn’t Big Brother was sealing our fate. SO as soon as Tyler left, we knew the three we needed in the end.” Hung was next and asked Derek if she thought he brought anything strategically to the season, and Derek responded saying his big move was getting rid of James. “James played a similar game to me,” Derek said, “So I knew he’d dominate in the end if given the longevity.” Tyler was next and pleaded the jury to vote for the best player, and not vote bitterly, and thanked all three contestants for the journey. Michele was last and asked Derek why he didn’t take the shot at Tiffany and Derek responded saying “If I took out Tiff, you would’ve beaten me, and I just felt like I would have a better fighting chance against more equal competition.”

In the end, the voting turned out like this:

Lauren- Tiffany
James- Tiffany
Jamal- Derek
Jeremy- Danielle
Claire- Tiffany
Janet- Tiffany
Hung- Derek
Tyler- Derek
Michele- Tiffany

And the winner, by a 5-3-1 vote, of SURVIVOR: REALITY SHOWDOWN is….TIFFANY MITCHELL!

NEXT SEASON PREVIEW: We’ve seen so many amazing duos in the history of Survivor, and we even did a whole season of them way back when in which JT came out on top, beating duos like Rob & Amber, Tina & Colby, and even Amanda & Parv. But a lot of new duos have emerged since we last did that season. Some resulting in the ultimate betrayal, some ending with a heartbreaking blindside, and some ending with the first ever tie in the history of Survivor. So we figured we’d give it another try. It’s SURVIVOR: DYNAMIC DUOS 2. Comment or DM for what duos YOU want to see on the season.
