SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Finale Part 1 Jan 24, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Having lost the rock draw, Caleb and Erik knew that Lindsey, Dana, and NaOnka weren’t breaking apart. In the immunity challenge, it was a puzzle and Caleb was out of it from the start. Erik had a shot, but Caleb hoped that helping NaOnka would get him some votes, and he decided to help NaOnka, giving her the win. Erik was upset, and went back and told Lindsey and Dana that Caleb helped NaOnka win so that he wouldn’t win, and to watch out for Caleb. NaOnka told Caleb that he made a good move helping her, and that she would vote out Erik. She told Lindsey and Dana to vote for Erik. At tribal, Erik said that it was obviously between him and Caleb, because Dana, Lindsey, and NaOnka were so tight. He told them that Caleb was playing a good game, helping NaOnka. He said that Caleb was a lot smarter than he seemed, and for that, he should go home. Caleb said that he wasn’t smart, he just wanted to beat Erik, and he couldn’t do it himself, so he needed to help NaOnka, who had the next shot. When it came to the vote, Erik voted for Caleb, and Caleb and NaOnka voted for Erik. When Dana and Lindsey voted, they went with their gut and voted off Caleb, causing NaOnka to be infuriated. Caleb was humble on his way out, saying that he’s glad that he redeemed himself, and left with his head held high.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 11 Jan 24, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Jonathan’s elimination, NaOnka and Dana felt on cloud nine. Erik didn’t like Jonathan telling them they had won the game, and talked to Caleb about maybe teaming up to go after NaOnka if she didn’t win immunity. Caleb liked the idea, and said that if NaOnka won immunity, it would have to be Dana. At the immunity challenge, it was a balancing puzzle, and NaOnka and Erik were neck and neck the whole time, but NaOnka finished her puzzle while balancing first, and won immunity. Caleb was angry, but told Erik and Kourtney that he was still down to vote out Dana. At the tribal council, Erik and Kourtney bluffed everyone and voted out Dana, causing a 3-3 tie between Dana and Caleb. Erik and Kourtney told Lindsey to switch her vote, but when they revote, it was still deadlocked. Knowing a purple rock was on the line, the contestants bickered and bickered. NaOnka said that she had immunity and had nothing to lose, so the whole group went to rocks. Having immunity, NaOnka didn’t have to draw rocks, neither did Caleb or Dana. Erik, Kourtney, and Lindsey revealed their rocks, and it was shown that Kourtney had the purple rock, and was sent home. She was devistated and wished that she could have just voted out Caleb on the revote.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 10 Jan 24, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Joe’s elimination, Lindsey, Kourtney, and Erik knew that their days were numbered. In the immunity challenge, it was announced that it would be endurance, but whoever fell off their peg of wood first would be going home. Everyone was immediately fearful. When the challenge started, all of the castaways had to balance their feet on a small peg of wood, and Dana and Julie immediately started shaking. Jonathan was shaking too, and all three fell almost simultaneously. As the remaining 5 castaways stayed on, the three who fell at the same time awaited confirmation on who fell off first. It was revealed by a video playback that Julie’s foot hit the ground a second before Jonathan and Dana’s. Julie was so upset, and had to leave the beach immediately. Kourtney, NaOnka and Erik fell off right after that, leaving Lindsey and Caleb. Caleb knew that he couldn’t let Lindsey win, because she was the biggest target to go. Lindsey fell, and Caleb won the challenge, his third individual immunity. Back at camp, NaOnka was crying because Julie left. Jonathan reassured her that it was okay, because they still had the numbers, and that Lindsey was going home tonight. Jonathan came up to Dana and Caleb and said that NaOnka was being ridiculous, and began making jokes about her. Dana kept quiet about it, until she saw that NaOnka was upset, and told NaOnka what the boys were saying. Dana then had the idea to talk to Erik, Kourtney, and Lindsey about getting rid of Jonathan. The three were incredibly surprised, but Lindsey still didn’t trust Dana after Dana threw her name under the bus the week before. Erik and Kourtney debated what they were going to do. At tribal, Jonathan said it was clear that Lindsey, Erik, and Kourtney were on the bottom, but NaOnka was unusually quiet. NaOnka addressed that she was fine, but she really wasn’t. When the vote came, Lindsey’s vote went to Dana. Jonathan got two votes and Lindsey got two votes. When it came to the last two votes, Jonathan expected it to be Lindsey’s name, but the votes went to Jonathan, and Penner was blindsided 4-2-1, and proud of a game well played, and applauded NaOnka and Dana for taking out the best player. “You have my vote,” he said on the way out.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 9 Jan 24, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: Joe was mad that Caleb voted with his alliance, and confronted him on it. Caleb said that it was Jonathan who told him that he could be in an alliance with him. Joe told Lindsay that Jonathan was untruthful, and that they should abandon ship and go against him. Jonathan and Caleb bonded, and Caleb expressed his concern about Joe, and how he and Joe have clashed heads in the past. At the immunity challenge, it was an eating contest, and nobody saw it coming, but Dana crushed the competition and won immunity. Back at camp, Erik and Kourtney knew it was probably one of them, and decided to talk to Dana to see if her and Caleb felt on the outs. Dana told them that they were voting for Lindsey, to throw out a name. Dana told her alliance that Erik and Kourtney were voting for Lindsey, and they could vote out one of them, but Lindsey got upset that she threw her name out there. Dana said that it was just a name, and that she wasn’t going home, but Lindsey was super offended. Joe approached Lindsey and told her that it was time to strike against Caleb and Jonathan. They talked to Erik and Kourtney and said that they should all join together to get out Jonathan. Erik and Kourtney told Dana that Joe was targeting their side, and Dana told Caleb and Jonathan. Jonathan talked to Caleb, Dana, Julie, and NaOnka and said to go after Joe, because he was strong and was targeting them. At tribal council, Erik and Kourtney said that Lindsey and Joe were untrustworthy, but Lindsey told them that Dana was telling them to vote Lindsey because they were all targeting Erik! Erik got upset at Jonathan, and apologized to Lindsey and Joe for not trusting them, and said that they would join them in voting out Jonathan. When it came to the vote, four votes came Jonathan’s way, but Jonathan was able to maintain the numbers, and his alliance of five voted for Joe, because he was a big threat and an untrustworthy alliance member.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 8 Jan 23, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Sue’s blindside, Erik and Kourtney knew they had to abandon Caleb and Dana, and try to get back Lindsey and Kathy as allies. Erik tried to tell Kathy that Penner was running the game, and would win the game if they let him. Kathy agreed, but Lindsey was less willing to jump ship. At the immunity challenge, Caleb and Dana knew that they had to win. Caleb won the challenge, with Erik slightly missing out. Jonathan pulled aside his alliance of 6 and said that Dana could be passed on another week, and that they should go after Erik. Lindsey told Jonathan in secret that Kathy was going to vote with Erik to vote out Jonathan, which enraged him. He then approached Dana and Caleb and said that if they voted Kathy with him, he would align with them and NaOnka and Julie to make a final 5 alliance. Caleb was extremely interested in this. When it came time for the vote, Erik, Kourtney, and Kathy voted for Penner, while the rest of the tribe followed Penner’s move and voted out Kathy. Kathy was incredibly upset, especially at her friend Lindsey. Lindsey knew she made the right move in aligning with Penner.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 7 Jan 23, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: When the tribes merged, it was clear that the power players were Sue and Jonathan. Jonathan, with his allies NaOnka and Julie, approached Kathy and Lindsey into joining with them. Jonathan said how he didn’t want to align with a lot of Medevacs because he wanted the best chance to win at the end, and getting out Erik, Kourtney, Caleb, and Joe were his priority. Erik and Kourtney were upset that Lindsey and Kathy so quickly jumped ship, and decided to try to align with Sue, Dana, Caleb, and Joe. Sue told Caleb, Dana, and Joe that Erik and Kourtney would be good allies, and they could get rid of them at final 6. Joe, however, was still bitter at Caleb for flipping on Shamar, and decided to approach Jonathan in going after Caleb and Sue. Jonathan was happy to have the majority numbers, but told Joe to be a spy and keep information on them. At the immunity challenge, it was announced that both men and women would compete separately in an endurance competition. For the men, Jonathan and Caleb struggled, leaving Joe and Erik battling it out, and Joe falling, making Erik the winner. As for the women, Dana, Kourtney, Sue, Kathy, and Julie dropped right away, leaving NaOnka and Lindsey, and NaOnka prevailed! Back at camp, Joe was with his “old alliance,” and Sue was barking orders, saying to vote out Jonathan, who was the strongest member on the other side. Joe then told Jonathan that Sue was the ring master and she was an even bigger threat than Caleb. Jonathan agreed. At tribal, it seemed like a done deal for Jonathan going home, but Joe flipped his vote, sending Sue home, utterly shocked. Caleb and Dana exchanged a look of fear, and Erik and Kourtney were scared for their games as well.
