SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 6 Jan 23, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: James marched back to camp without saying a word to his tribe. Jonathan tried to pull him aside and explain, but James just snapped and told him off. Jonathan said that James was next to go, and it didn’t mind him. At the Sand beach, Shamar, Caleb, and Joe were bonding, making Sue and Dana worried. Sue decided to make a plan, and hide half of the tribe’s rice. The next morning, she told Caleb that she saw Shamar take the rice. This started a feud between Caleb and Shamar, Caleb telling Shamar how he was disloyal to him, and that he disrespected his Veteran status. At the Sky beach, things were going very well. Everyone seemed to be getting along, but Neal pulled Kourtney aside saying that if they lost, he wanted to work with her to vote off Erik, saying how he was a big threat moving forward, and that Lindsey and Kathy would be easy to beat in the end. Kourtney didn’t know what to do, considering Erik was his closest ally. She approached Erik, and Erik was heartbroken, saying how he trusted Neal. Erik then talked to Kathy and Lindsey saying that Neal should go next. At the immunity challenge, it was revealed that EACH team would go to tribal, and only one member on each tribe would be safe. The Sand tribe had a physical challenge, carrying big bags of sand, in which Caleb won. The Sea tribe had a mental challenge, and NaOnka surprised everyone when she won! Last was the Sky tribe, who had endurance, and it came down to Erik and Lindsey, but Erik couldn’t hold on, and Lindsey won immunity. By the pick of a hat, Sea was up first. Back at camp, James knew he was going home, and decided to try to sway NaOnka to his side, saying how she has proven herself, and Julie has not. But at tribal, NaOnka didn’t listen, and James was voted out 3-1. Next up was the Sand tribe. The new feud between Caleb and Shamar pit the two vets against each other. Shamar said he was willing to put this behind him, and told Caleb that he would vote for Dana, because she was the weakest. Joe went along with Shamar, but Caleb ultimately betrayed Shamar and voted him out 3-2, joining Dana and Sue’s votes. The last tribe was up, Team Sky. Neal was completely confident going into the vote that he was able to get Kourtney, Lindsey, and Kathy to vote Erik. But after the votes were read, Neal was incredibly surprised that he got all 4 votes from his tribe, and Erik only got one. It was then revealed at the end that all three tribes would merge into the RESILIENCE tribe.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 5 Jan 22, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After getting split into three tribes, the three tribes competed in their first immunity challenge as mixed tribes. Team Sky had a rough start with the physical part of the challenge, but once they got to the puzzle, they crushed it. Team Sand and Sea flew through the physical part, but when it came to the puzzle, Dana and Sue were struggling, as were NaOnka and Skupin. In the end, Dana was able to figure it out, and got them the win. Team Sea went back to camp, and immediately Julie and James clashed heads. NaOnka told Julie that she’d have her back, and try to get James out. Mike, James, and Jonathan agreed to stick together and go after Julie for having a dangerous mouth. Jonathan was on board, but then realized that getting James and Skupin out would be a huge game move, and approached NaOnka about maybe getting one of them out. NaOnka said that they were targeting James, but Penner thought that it would make more sense to get rid of Skupin because he screwed up in the challenge, and there would be a good excuse to get rid of him. Julie really wanted to go after James, but NaOnka tried to convince her that James was digging his own grave (no pun intended), and Skupin would be harder to beat in the end. At tribal, both Mike and James were confident, and Jonathan played along, but when the vote came, Julie got 2 votes, but Skupin got 3. Utterly shocked and blindsided, Mike walked the Walk of Shame out of tribal council, leaving James alone and pissed.

20th- Janu Tornell (Palau)
19th- Joe Del Campo (Kaoh Rong) (Removed Due to Injury)
18th- Jenna Morasca (Amazon, All Stars)
17th- Kelly “Purple” Shinn (Nicaragua) (Quit)
16th- Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands)
15th- Mike Skupin (Australia, Philippines)

NEW TRIBES:

SAND

Caleb Reynolds (Kaoh Rong)
Dana Lambert (Philippines)
Shamar Thomas (Caramoan)
Joe Dowdle (Tocantins)
Susan Hawk (Borneo, All Stars)

SEA

Julie McGee (San Juan del Sur)
James Clement (China, Micronesia, HvV)
NaOnka Mixon (Nicaragua)
Jonathan Penner (Cook Islands, Micronesia, Philippines)

SKY

Erik Reichenbach (Micronesia, Caramoan)
Kourtney Moon (One World)
Kathy Sleckman (Micronesia)
Lindsey Ogle (Cagayan)
Neal Gottlieb (Kaoh Rong)

In this special episode, all THREE tribes will be going to tribal council and voting someone off. Each team will have an immunity challenge, so there will be one person from each tribe safe. Random.org decided that CALEB, NAONKA, and LINDSEY win immunity. So vote for one person on each tribe to go home!! It’s gonna be a good episode.

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 4 Jan 22, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Jenna’s elimination, and Purple Kelly quitting, most of the Quitters tribe were on edge. Lindsay and Julie were both incredibly upset, losing two of their allies, but Osten decided to go flirt with them. It then got to the point where Osten’s touching and flirting was getting obnoxious and inappropriate. Lindsey immediately started telling him off, and Julie backed him up. Sue was mad that Osten was talking to them anyway, being that Osten wasn’t their ally. At the challenge, the Medevacs were again surprised that they voted off Jenna, a strong challenge competitor, and that Kelly quit again. The challenge was designed as a mostly mental challenge. The Medevacs actually struggled for the first time, but halfway through the challenge, Osten started barking orders, and one by one, the women started to step away from the puzzle mat. Even Sue and NaOnka, Osten’s biggest allys walked off the mat. Osten was left alone to handle the puzzle, while the Medevacs slowly but surely won the challenge. After the challenge, James called them stupid for letting them win, and “once a quitter, always a quitter.” This made Julie yell at them, saying how Osten was acting inappropriately. When they returned to camp, Sue told Julie and Lindsey that she was voting Osten. Osten tried to reason with Dana, Kathy, and NaOnka, but all three just ignored him. At tribal council, Osten was visibly very upset, but it didn’t matter, and he was sent home 6-1, after he placed a Hail Mary vote towards Julie. It was then announced that the Quitters needed some serious help, and they’d soon become three tribes, mixed with the Medevacs! The tribes are the Sand Tribe, the Sea Tribe, and the Sky Tribe!

20th- Janu Tornell (Palau)
19th- Joe Del Campo (Kaoh Rong) (Removed Due to Injury)
18th- Jenna Morasca (Amazon, All Stars)
17th- Kelly “Purple” Shinn (Nicaragua) (Quit)
16th- Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands)

NEW TRIBES:

SAND

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 3 Jan 22, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The episode started with Old Joe on the ground, and medical surrounding him. The rest of the tribe watched in fear and apprehension. It was then announced that because of dehydration, Joe had to be removed from the game. The whole tribe was shaken up. The next morning, the Quitters were shocked to see the Medevacs down a member, and the Medevacs weren’t too surprised that Janu was sent home. Sue said that the Quitters were getting along very good. The immunity challenge began, and the Medevacs once again killed it in the challenge. Back at camp, the alliances started to show for the Quitters tribe. Jenna immediately started clicking with Purple Kelly, Lindsey and Julie. Sue pulled Kathy and Osten aside, complaining that the girls were acting like the cool kids, and talked about getting rid of Jenna, because she was a previous winner. Osten and Kathy both seemed on board. He then approached NaOnka about it. NaOnka was on board too, and talked to Lindsey. Lindsey, knowing that Jenna was a target, approached Jenna, and Jenna was not happy. She then tried to get Dana in to go after Sue. Osten also approached Dana about going after Jenna, being that she was a winner and didn’t deserve to win again. Also, the story about quitting for her mom was something that would get her votes in the end. At tribal council, Jenna decided to be the bigger man and not attack Sue, but Sue full fledge attacked Jenna. Jenna broke down crying, saying how she just wanted to come back and finish the journey for her mom, and didn’t want to be such an early target for being a winner. When the vote came, Dana decided that Jenna was too big of a threat, and Jenna was sent home in a 5-4 vote. Sue snickered, and high fived both NaOnka and Osten. Kathy hugged Dana, reassuring her she’d be okay. Before they walked out of tribal council, Purple Kelly stood up and said that it wasn’t fair to vote out Jenna so early, and that she wasn’t going to let Jenna leave tribal council alone. Her tribe was incredibly surprised, but she said that she wasn’t going to stand for the bullying, and if it made her a quitter again, so be it, but at least she’d be leaving standing up to bullying and supporting her friend Jenna. Kelly laid down her torch, a second time, in order to join her friend and be there for Jenna. The Quitters returned to their camp with only 7 members remaining.

20th- Janu Tornell (Palau)

SURVIVOR: MEDEVACS VS. QUITTERS Episode 2 Jan 21, 2017
imagePREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: The Medevacs reached the beach, excited to begin their journey again! Neal was a little pissed to see James, Mike, and Jonathan since they all got to redeem themselves after their evacuations, but decided to keep quiet. The Quitters marched in, causing everyone to be upset. Shamar yelled out, “we don’t want to lose to people who already left voluntarily.” Sue Hawk said that she was back to redeem her bad image, and actually wanted to play hard. Janu agreed. Janu said “I quit to help another player, not like most of my friends here.” This caused people to roll their eyes on Janu. Right away, they had their first challenge, and would have the first tribal council RIGHT AWAY. They had to run through a maze obstacle course, and reach a series of puzzle pieces in order to go back and have 2 members work on a puzzle. Kourtney and Erik decided to do the puzzle for the Medevacs (mostly because Kourtney wanted a less dangerous role in the first challenge seeing as last time she broke her arm). The two Quitters who did the puzzle were Kathy and Janu. In the end, the Medevacs killed it, Erik and Kourtney doing a superb job in the puzzle. The Medevacs left for camp. The Quitters stayed behind for tribal council, without any time to discuss. At the tribal council, Osten and Janu tried to blame Kathy. Janu then told her tribe that she was deserving of staying because she didn’t necessarily quit. Jenna chimed in and said that she left for a family member’s death and had no choice, but Janu voluntarily left, so she’s no less of a quitter than anyone else. Janu then yelled at Jenna, saying that if Janu quit, that means Jenna quit too. Jenna yelled back saying she didn’t have a choice, it was a family member. NaOnka chimed in and yelled at Janu, saying that we’re all quitters, so don’t try to make excuses. Janu then said, “if we’re all quitters, then vote for Jenna, she already won the game.” Lindsey chimed in saying “at least Jenna isn’t throwing anyone else under the bus.” When the vote came around, Janu voted for Jenna, Osten kept his vote for Kathy, and the rest of the votes went for Janu, making for an almost unanimous vote of 8-1-1. Janu left, upset, and saying she wish she kept her mouth shut, but still saying that she didn’t feel like a quitter the first time around, and only got sent home because people were threatened. The episode almost ended, but back at the Medevacs camp, while the winning tribe was setting down their torches, Old Joe collapsed, and the medics were on their way when the screen read: TO BE CONTINUED.

20th- Janu Tornell (Palau)

Here, 10 of the most notorious quitters will take on 10 castaways who unfortunately left the game early for means beyond their own control. Here are the tribe breakdowns, including your castaways that you voted through: Jonathan Penner, Susan Hawk, Jenna Morasca, and Joe Del Campo!

Here we go!

TRIBES:

MEDEVACS

Mike Skupin (Australia, Philippines)
Erik Reichenbach (Micronesia, Caramoan)
Caleb Reynolds (Kaoh Rong)
Shamar Thomas (Caramoan)
Joe Del Campo (Kaoh Rong)
Kourtney Moon (One World)
Joe Dowdle (Tocantins)
James Clement (China, Micronesia, HvV)
Neal Gottlieb (Kaoh Rong)
Jonathan Penner (Cook Islands, Micronesia, Philippines)

QUITTERS

Jenna Morasca (Amazon, All Stars)
Kathy Sleckman (Micronesia)
Lindsey Ogle (Cagayan)
Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands)
NaOnka Mixon (Nicaragua)
Kelly "Purple" Shinn (Nicaragua)

Now it's your turn to vote someone out. Random.org says that the MEDEVACS win the first immunity! That means the will go to tribal council. Vote off someone from the QUITTERS tribe.

Also, unfortunately, "once a quitter always a quitter" happens more often than not. Vote for which contestant you think will quit again, and which contestant you think will heartbreakingly be sent home again with an injury. Survivor isn't easy. These won't happen for a few weeks, so you still have time to vote!
